Myth Of Empires’ Ambitious Roadmap Includes New Civilizations And MMO Servers

Angela Game has huge plans for Myth of Empires, now that the multiplayer sandbox title has fully launched on Steam. The studio recently revealed its development plans for the newly released game which include the addition of new civilizations and massively multiplayer servers.
Greek and Persian civilizations are set to join the fray later this year along with their respective tech trees, with Rome and Egypt set to follow in 2025 at the earliest. The studio also plans to add a 1000-player season server that will pit existing factions against each other in week-long PvP events. The Jousting Battlefield will also be expanded to allow for up to 600 players to engage in brutal medieval combat.
That’s on top of the new legendary creatures, watercraft, flying vehicles, fortresses, underwater content, and customization options that are in the pipeline. Players can also look forward to improvements to the breeding and farming systems, English voiceovers, boss AI, and existing PvE content. The team will also be expanding the building system to include new multi-functional foundations and roofings, some of which will double as plots for growing crops or fish pens.
It’s a pretty ambitious roadmap but it shouldn’t be impossible now that Myth of Empires is being backed by Snail Games as its publisher.
