Midnight Ghost Hunt Drops New Explainer Trailer, Early Access Launch Slated For Spring

Vaulted Sky Games and Coffee Stain Publishing have released a new explainer trailer for their upcoming Prop Hunt-inspired 4v4 game, Midnight Ghost Hunt. The new trailer was first shown at the SXSW Gaming Awards this weekend ahead of the game’s Steam Early Access launch this spring.

The 3-minute long trailer explains the game’s core mechanics where restless spirits must possess everyday objects in order to hide from ghost hunters and evade detection by their gadget, think Ghostbusters meets Prop Hunt. The ghost hunters, however, only have limited time to get the job done before all hell breaks lose at the stroke of midnight.

“[…] When the clock strikes midnight, the tables turn and the hunters become the hunted! As the supernatural becomes superpowered, the Hunters have to do all they can to survive the night in one piece.”
