4v4 Prop Hunt-Style Midnight Ghost Hunt Hosts Closed Beta Test This Weekend
Vaulted Sky Games and Coffee Stain Publishing will be running their first Midnight Ghost Hunt closed beta test this weekend, just in time for Halloween. The upcoming 4v4 hide-and-seek game takes a page out of prop hunt’s book and will pit a team of humans against a team of ghosts, with the ghosts surprisingly on the disadvantaged team.
“In Midnight Ghost Hunt, take control as either a hunter or a ghost in this chaotic 4v4 hide-and-seek game which brings a bold and thrilling new take on the prop hunt genre. Hunters must work together using an array of hi-tech gadgets and weapons to hunt down and destroy Ghosts as they attempt to conceal themselves around Midnight Ghost Hunt’s chilling maps.”
Hunters have access to an arsenal of Ghosbuster-like devices and weapons such as the Spectrophone, Pathfinder, salt-spewing shotguns, harpoons, and the vacuum to suck up spectral remains. Ghosts, on the other hand, have the ability to conceal themselves inside everyday objects as they wait for the clock to strike midnight. They can also use their supernatural powers to turn invisible, levitate furniture, conjure deadly ghost miasma, and create a Hunter doppelganger.
Once midnight comes, the Ghosts become supercharged and the so-called Hunters become the hunted. The Hunters will then need to survive until their evac arrives.
The weekend closed beta will take place from October 29th to October 31st.
