Mad World Devs Outline Updates Since The September Closed Beta Test

Over the past few weeks, Jandisoft has been rolling out a series of short Mad World preview videos that offer brief glimpses of the game world, its characters, and its lore. The studio, however, has been relatively silent as far as development on the 2D grimdark MMORPG is concerned. They’ve now broken that silence with a rundown of all the updates and improvements made to the game since its last closed beta test.

Some of the more noteworthy changes that testers can look forward to in the next beta test include the new Annihilation dungeon in Act 5, new field monsters in Act 4 and Act 5, new boss fights, adjustments to dungeon difficulty, a reworked Phantom Training Ground, new mining and gathering spots, and tweaks to elite monster and boss regeneration rates.

Jandisoft still hasn’t announced a solid release date for the grimdark 2D MMORPG aside from a vague 2023 launch window, but it looks like it’s going to be chock full of content when it finally comes out. In the meantime, you can check out the full list of updates on the Mad World official site.
