Mad World Continues To Roll Out Preview Videos In Preparation For Its Release

The Mad World dev team is determined to keep the hype alive as we await the 2D grimdark MMORPG’s promised release sometime this year. The game’s YouTube channel has seen a whole lot of activity since the start of December as developer Jandisoft dumps a huge collection of preview videos that offer sneak peeks at the upcoming game’s world, lore, and characters.

The more recent ones take viewers on a tour of the Blocked Off Sand Gorge zone, reveal more lore snippets with a new audio book, and introduces fans to a grotesque monster called Palopo and the Head Chef Pepperloan.

Jandisoft has yet to announce a release date for Mad World aside from a vague 2023 window after it was delayed from 2022. The team says that they’ve already completed development on the full release version of the game but are still working on final testing and translations. It’s publishing deal with Netmarble had also apparently fallen through.
