Lord of the Rings Online Shadowfax Heads To Helm’s Deep Tomorrow
Lord of the Rings Online’s Shadowfax Legendary server is leaving Treebeard in the dust and slowly catching up to Anor as it moves on to its next phase of content. Players on the fast-paced progression server will be heading to Rohan tomorrow, May 4th with the release of the Helm’s Deep expansion. The expansion will also bump up the level cap to 95.
Meanwhile, Anor players are still exploring Morgul Vale in Minas Morgul while those on Treebeard are still wallowing underground with the Dwarves in Mines of Moria. Those on the normal servers, on the other hand, should still be busy exploring and completing quests in the newly-added zone of Yondershire.
“Yondershire (like the Angle before it!) was also an attempt to make a zone that feels like a throwback to the earlier regions in the game,” Senior Content Designer Jeff Libby said of the new zone. “It doesn’t have quite as many quests hiding in the wilderness (meaning off the beaten trail, not in the central towns), but there’s no shortage of quest rings throughout! It reminds me not only of the early Shire hubs, but Combe and Staddle as well.”
