Lord of the Rings Online players are now just a few days away from stepping foot in a brighter version of Gondor as Standing Stone Games gears up for the release of Update 36 this week. As previously revealed, the new content is set after the Battle of Pelennor Fields and Aragorn's wedding, featuring vibrant and sunny landscapes in contrast to the zone’s former gloomy surroundings.

Aside from the picturesque scenery, Update 36 brings more additions to the game. The optional landscape difficulty system will be expanded to all servers, offering players a customizable gameplay experience. Delvings will also be expanded to include instances in Annúminas and Great Barrows, adding to the variety of challenges awaiting adventurers.

More recently, Standing Stone has raised the level caps for legendary items and virtues, allowing players to further enhance their characters. Excitement continues to build as the Treebeard progression server is scheduled to journey into Rohan on June 7th, followed by the eagerly anticipated Midsummer Festival for all players on June 8th.

Update 36: Gondor Renewed is set to hit the live servers on Wednesday, May 31st. Stay tuned for the maintenance schedule and the official patch notes coming later today.
