Lord Of The Rings Online Polls Players On Upcoming Changes To The Hunter Class

The Lord of the Rings Online dev team is continuing its efforts to rebalance its classes and has set its sights on another class to tweak. This time, it's the Hunters' turn to undergo some fine-tuning, and the team wants your input. They've presented two options for adjustment and are calling on players to give their feedback.

The first option aims to carve out unique identities for each of the Hunter's specializations. The Huntsman will become the skirmisher, the Bowmaster will be the backline DPS, and the Trapper of Foes will be the AoE/CC. The goal is to modernize the class while retaining its essence.

Option two considers transforming the blue spec into a utility line that would augment the other two. The Trapper of Foes will gain the ability to keep a target locked down with a root for a longer period of time, while the Bowmaster will maintain its core strength as a ranged damage dealer and will gain the ability to move when needed without sacrificing its rotation.
