Google Stadia Rolls Out One Final Game Ahead Of Its Closure This Week

Google Stadia is giving its users one final game to play for free as a parting gift before the streaming service officially shuts down this week. Before you get too excited, know that it’s not a AAA game or any of the popular games available right now but a game that the developers used for network nesting prior to the service’s launch called the Worm Game.
The game is basically another version of the classic Snake game and probably wouldn’t have merited a news piece if it weren’t for the fact that it marks Stadia’s final days of operations as Google prepares to pull its plug at 11:59 p.m. PST on January 18th.
As promised, Google has been refunding all purchases made through the service since December and is expected to complete the process before the lights go out. As for your in-game data and progress, it’s best to check with each game developer as they’ll be handling data and account transfers in their own way.
You might have seen one last game arrive on Stadia today. It's a humble 🧡 thanks 💜 for playing from our team.
