Fallout 76 T-51b Collectible Helmet Recalled Due To Possible Presence Of Mold
Remember that Fallout 76 cool canvas carrying bag that Bethesda gave away as part of the game’s $200 Collector’s Edition? Nope? Well maybe it’s because instead of a canvas bag, Collector’s Edition owners got a cheap nylon knockoff instead.
Unfortunately, the franchise is once again in the middle of a merch fiasco as the Consumer Product Safety Commission issues a recall notice for around 20,000 units of the T-51b Power Armor Collectible Helmet due to the possible presence of mold. “Mold can be present on the fabric insert inside the helmet, posing a risk of respiratory or other infections in individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mold,” reads the recall alert.
While there have been no reported injuries or incidents attributed to the use of the product, the CPSC is strongly urging consumers to immediately stop using the helmet and contact GameStop for return instructions and a full refund. GameStop can be reached through phone at 800-883-8895 from 9-5 am ET Monday-Friday, by email at ProductSafety@gamestop.com with the subject line “Product Recall” or by clicking on the “Recall” link on the GameStop official site.
