Evil Dead: The Game Announced At This Year’s The Game Awards

evil dead the game survivor team bannerBoss Team and Saber Interactive announced Evil Dead: The Game during last night’s The Game Awards 2020. The game is based in the Evil Dead Series of movies by Sam Raimi and will be launching on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.

Evil Dead: The Game will feature asymmetric gameplay where a team of four players will play the part of Ash Williams and his friends while one player takes on the role of the Kandarian Demon in the movies. The demon will hunt down the survivors by possessing Deadites, the environment, or even the survivors themselves in an effort to steal their souls.

Bruce Campbell himself will reprise his role as Ash Williams in the game. “I’m excited to be strapping on the chainsaw one more time,” said Campbell in the press release. “Boss Team and Saber Interactvie are planning a huge immersive dealio, and I knew I had to come back. You’ll be able to step into my shoes and kick some Deadite ass!”
