EverQuest 2 Officially Opens Its new ‘Kael Drakkel’ Lore And Legend Server

EverQuest 2’s new Kael Drakkel Lore and Legend server is now officially live after a week in testing. Kael Drakkel comes with a new casual ruleset that offers new players and even veterans a way to experience all of the game’s contents without the added pressure of grinding for gear or trying to keep up with the rest of the server’s population.

Creating a character on Kael Drakkel will start you out at level 90 with full level 90 gear that you can upgrade as you progress through the game. Your level will then scale down to the appropriate level for the zone that you’re in which means that you’ll never have to worry about getting left behind even if you rarely login. This should also make grouping easier as players won’t need to worry as much about levels and gear. That being said, mastery of zones, dungeons, and raids, would still be important for more efficient runs.

The server also offers a good entry point for new players who would otherwise be intimidated by the amount of content already available in the regular servers.
