Eve Online Gets A New Trailer, Details SKINs, And Talks Ascension At Eve Vegas 2016

Eve Vegas 2016 is underway and we're hearing some details about Eve Online's upcoming Ascension Expansion: the expansion that opens Eve Online to everyone by including a free-to-play tier.

New ship SKINs will be available in the New Eden store, with more to release after the expansion. Also, current skins will see a "massive" price drop.

The recruit program will be improved for Ascension. While we will keep the rewards for veterans, new players will receive a bonus of 250.000 free skillpoints. This bonus is going to replace the current bonus (extension of trial time). Following the Ascension expansion, the recruit program will be opened up for player corporations. Corporations specialized on helping new players will be able to get rewards too!

A trailer has dropped as well, and it makes New Eden very tempting. Players narrate their Eve Online experiences over cinematic footage. You can watch below.
