Endless Dungeon Now Available For Pre-Order Ahead Of Its Pre-Order Early Access
After a quick beta test in November, Amplitude is now gearing up for the launch of its newest Endless game, Endless Dungeon, with an opendev early access release later this month. The early access build will be open to anyone who pre-orders the Last Wish Digital Edition and will be the “final rodeo” before the game’s official launch.
During its indefinite early access stint, eligible players will get to try out the game’s four playable heroes in both single-player and co-op multiplayer modes. The heroes are: Bunker, Comrade, Blaze, and Shroom, who’ll fill the role of tank, gunsmith, artificer, and medic, respectively. They’ll also get to explore four districts, take on a new boss called the Shelldiver, and hangout in the Saloon between missions where they’ll be able to modify their weapons and try drinks that have varying effects.
Aside from being guaranteed access to the in-development build, players who purchase the Last Wish digital edition will also receive various bonus in-game items including hero skins, avatars, badges, the game’s official soundtrack and artbook, access to the closed beta, and a 48-hour headstart.
While the previous Endless games can best be described as roguelike, tower defense hybrids, Endless Dungeon plays more like a twin-stick shooter with a good measure of tower defense mechanics thrown into the mix. Players must defend a crystal bot from endless waves of enemies while they work to open doors to collect more resources that they’ll need to shore up their defenses.
Unlike traditional tower defense games, however, players must send the crystal bot out to unlock the entrance to the next level, so they’ll need to ensure that they have adequate defenses all along the bot’s path.
Endless Dungeon is now available for pre-order in physical form for PC and consoles, on Steam, and on the Epic Games Store and is scheduled to kick off its pre-order early access on January 30th.
