Multiplayer Roguelike Endless Dungeon Has Been Delayed To October For More Work

Amplitude Studios has made the unfortunate decision to delay the launch of Endless Dungeon by a few months for more work and polish. The multiplayer roguelike and spiritual successor to Dungeon of the Endless was initially scheduled to launch next month but has now been pushed back to October 19 to give the developers more time to incorporate player feedback and “make the game as great as it can be.”
“During this extra time, we'll be working on meta-progression, balancing, in-game economy, as well as loads of general polishing and bug-fixing,” said Amplitude. “The feedback we've gotten over the past OpenDevs has proved to us that we truly have something special on our hands, and we want to make sure that the game reaches its full potential.”
The game’s delay also means that the upcoming closed beta test will also need to be pushed back but Amplitude assures fans that it will still be happening. Meanwhile, the studio is currently looking for more players to participate in its ongoing limited playtests and promises to reveal details on how to sign-up on social media and the Endless Dungeon official site soon.
