Elsword: Prelude To Season 2 Goes Live
Elsword Season 2 has begun. Today's update introduced a new chapter, Prelude to Season 2, which brings with it a host of features. Each character now begins the game in their own unique, story-driven tutorial zone. These new zones give players new insight into their characters' stories.
Raid mode has received a revision. A brand new raid UI has been implemented, allowing players to see their score and loot information, as well as the boss' health status and a ranking system for both individual characters and guilds. Raids will also allow unlimited resurrections now, balanced out by a newly-added timer.
A new raid boss, Perkisas the red dragon, is now terrorizing the denizens of Elsword. He is the "living incarnation of greed" and is said to be the strongest raid boss yet. This raid requires 8-player teams of characters level 15 and up.
Additionally, throughout December, players will be able to jump to level 70 and complete the second job change on weekends for free. The exact dates of this event are the 4th through the 6th, the 11th through the 13th, and the 18th through the 20th. Players will receive some loot bonuses with the level boost.
