Early Access MMO Craftopia Launches On Xbox And Windows Store

Craftopia is celebrating a year on Steam Early Access with a release on Xbox and Windows Game Preview, giving Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and non-Steam users access to the in-development MMO with cross-play support.
Developer PocketPair also confirmed their plans to launch the open world survival game on other consoles and roll out performance enhancements for the Series X|S next-gen consoles in the future. Meanwhile, the team will continue to release updates once every two months with the Summer 2021 Update arriving at the end of the month. The update might be a bit too late for summer but it does promise a new era, new weapons, new playable races, and the addition of a new creative mode.
Other new features and content coming to the game include a redesigned seamless open world map that will allow players to travel to new biomes without the need to build portals. The map upgrade is scheduled to arrive at the end of the year or early 2022. You can check that out in the video at the end of the article.
More weapons, including a katana, new skills, and new monsters will also be added along with an increase to the player limit on dedicated servers. A release date has yet to be announced for the aforementioned content.
