Dungeons And Dragons Online Promises ‘Something Cool’ Every Month In 2024

Standing Stone Games is pulling out the stops for Dungeons and Dragons Online’s year-long D&D 50th anniversary celebration. The studio is currently giving away a free 47-quest pack and selling multiple expansions for a steal until February 11.

The team also promises something different every month on top of the big summer expansion and at least two new archetypes this year.

“Instead of doing a one-and-done celebration, we thought we would try to have something cool every month all the way until the next anniversary,” said producer Amanda Grow. “Fifty is a really big milestone, so to me it felt like it’s something that needed a little bit more umph.”

Unfortunately for hardcore fans, Standing Stone says that it’s taking a quick break from opening new hardcore servers, although there’s still the possibility of a redux event happening this year.
