Standing Stone Games is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the D&D franchise with a boatload of content giveaways in Dungeons and Dragons Online. From now until February 11, players will be able to use the code “FREEDDO2024” to claim a total of 47 quest packs for free.

The bundle is basically the same as last spring’s free content giveaway but without the Vecna Unleashed, Isle of Dread, Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh, and Masterminds of Sharn expansions. The D&D MMORPG’s first four expansions, however, are currently on sale at just 99 Points apiece in the cash shop, namely: Menace of the Underdark, Shadowfell Conspiracy, Mists of Ravenloft, and Masterminds of Sharn. That’s a $100 worth of expansions for less than $7.

Meanwhile, DDO executive producer Amanda Grow talks up their plans for the long-running title this year, which includes two new quest packs, a dynamic in-game event in fall, and its ninth major expansion which will take players to the elven city of Myth Drannor.

“By popular demand, our next major Expansion in the summer will take place in a fan favorite D&D location: Myth Drannor,” she teased. “Myth Drannor is a place where opening yourself to chaos can allow you to tap into greater power. It’s that power that has attracted the Red Wizards of Thay. Players will need to explore both the ruins of Myth Drannor, and interfere with the plans of the Red Wizards. It’s the quintessential D&D and dungeon delving environment.”

Standing Stone Games will be opening pre-orders for the expansion in June. In the meantime, you can check out the full Dungeons and Dragons Online 2024 roadmap below.
