Dungeon Defenders II Hits PS4 On September 29th

Xbox One might have Game Previews now but PS4 is going to have Dungeon Defenders II while it is still in alpha. Announced today on the Playstation Blog, Dungeon Defenders II will be hitting PS4 on September 29th. It seems from the video that it will have two-player splitscreen, as well, much like the original game.

While the final release will be free-to-play like its PC counterpart, the PS4 release, like its PC counterpart, will require a buy-in to play during alpha. Any player that buys any amount of in-game currency via the Playstation Store will have access to the game from then on.

Unfortunately, as stated in a comment on the article by Philip Asher of Trendy Entertainment, PC players will not be able to transfer to PS4. Defense Council members will have to wait until launch to claim their rewards if they want to play on PS4.
