Duet Night Abyss Brings New Trailer and Life-Size Boss to Tokyo Game Show

Pan Studio and Hero Games are taking Duet Night Abyss, their upcoming hybrid action-fantasy RPG, to the Tokyo Game Show from September 25–28. Ahead of the event the team has released a fresh trailer that spotlights Sybille, the game’s first major boss and one of its most talked-about characters since the project was announced.
Visitors to Makuhari Messe will find more than a demo station. A full-scale model of “The Warden of the Inferno” will be on display, following the Gamescom showcase that featured “The Eclosioner.” The public build arrives a month before launch, giving players an early chance to test the blend of hack-and-slash and third-person shooter mechanics on PC and mobile.
Duet Night Abyss attempts to stand out in the crowded free-to-play mobile action RPG space for a few reasons. Its dual-narrative structure lets players switch perspectives between two protagonists, and the weapon system isn’t tied to specific characters, encouraging experimentation. With forged gear replacing loot boxes, the developers position the game as a “gacha-less” alternative to titles like Genshin Impact.
The game is scheduled to launch on October 28, 2025, for PC and mobile. Those not attending TGS can watch for additional footage and announcements on the official social channels, and pre-registration remains open.
