DC Universe Online Developer Dimensional Ink Lays Off An Unknown Number Of Employees

It’s a dark day for superheroes and villains alike as DC Universe Online studio Dimensional Ink Games becomes the latest victim of the ongoing job cuts in the video game industry. The layoffs appear to have also included senior staff members as confirmed by art producer Andy D. and narrative designer Lynnea Glasser, both of whom were laid off after four years with the Daybreak Games studio.

Senior community manager Theodore Stone, a.k.a. Mepps, has also left Dimensional Ink after 13 years of working for Daybreak, or Sony Online Entertainment as it was known back then. Whether he left by choice or was part of the layoffs wasn’t made clear.

By Kotaku’s latest count, over 6,400 video game industry employees have lost their jobs since the beginning of 2023. The exact number of employees that were laid off at Dimensional Ink wasn’t revealed.
