Diablo 4 Drops Official Story Launch Trailer Ahead Of Its Launch On June 6
We’re now just two weeks away from Diablo 4’s official launch, and Blizzard is paving the way for the momentous occasion with the worldwide premiere of the online ARPG’s story launch trailer.
According to the new trailer, Sanctuary was forged in the crucible of conflict during the epic clash between Inarius and Lilith and the scars of that battle still haunt the far corners of the region. Conflict remains an intrinsic part of life in this tumultuous realm as the trailers narrator reveals.
“Years after the events of Diablo III, millions have been slaughtered by the actions of the High Heavens and Burning Hells alike. In the power vacuum, a legendary name resurfaces: Lilith, daughter of Mephisto, the whispered progenitor of humanity. Her grip on Sanctuary cuts deep into the hearts of men and women alike, cultivating the worst in its denizens and leaving the world a dark, hopeless place.”
The eternal battle between angels and demons takes center stage once more as Lilith makes her triumphant return. This probably doesn’t come as a surprise since her likeness appears in almost every promotional material released for the game, emphasizing her pivotal role in the unfolding narrative. It’s said, however, that Lilith serves neither side of the conflict.
Meanwhile, Inarius is gearing up to lead his faithful Knights on a march towards Hell. It’s clear that the conflict remains a vital aspect of the Diablo universe, and the trailer tantalizes viewers, building anticipation for the forthcoming chapter in the Eternal Conflict.
