Since Diablo 4 kicked off Season 2: Season of Blood last week, it’s been raining legendary items in the online ARPG thanks to increased drop rates from Blood Harvest bosses. Apparently, a storm of cloned items have also swept over Sanctuary, prompting Blizzard to temporarily disable player trading over the weekend until they can fix the latest duping exploit.

“We are working on a fix to amend this issue and will update you once we’ve reinstated the ability to trade,” the studio said. “We will continue to monitor this activity to ensure a healthy playing experience for all. Any account that engages in gold and item duplication exploits will be actioned in accordance with our End User License Agreement.”

The said exploit allowed players to mass produce boss summoning materials, essentially giving them infinite access to endgame bosses like Duriel. There’s still no timeline for the fix but we’ll keep you posted on any new developments.
