Diablo 4 Internal Alpha Leak Reveals New Class And Content Coming In The First Expansion

The leaky ship that is Diablo 4 has inadvertently revealed nuggets of information on what could be a new class coming to the multiplayer online ARPG in its first expansion. Dataminers have uncovered code from the internal alpha build that hints at a new glaive-wielding, nature-oriented class called the Spiritborn.
Further datamining unearthed a mercenary system similar to that of Diablo 3, a five-wing raid called the Tomb of Akarat, and a return to the Kurast region as part of a storyline with Mephisto as the big bad boss.
The datamined information backs up, in part, a similar leak earlier this month that described the same class and pointed to a new zone called Nahantu as the setting for the upcoming expansion. Of course, we needn’t remind you to take this information with a grain of salt.
Blizzard Entertainment likely won’t be confirming or denying the rumors, but we can probably expect a big reveal at BlizzCon 2023 next month. In the meantime, you can go back to grinding legendaries in Season of Blood.
