Chinese Player Beats Diablo 4’s Hardest Endgame Dungeon And Secures World First Clear

It’s official! Somebody has beaten the hardest dungeon in Diablo 4 just one week after it launched. The accomplishment goes to Chinese player Xingluoah who managed to complete all 25 level of the Abattoir of Zir endgame dungeon, a dungeon so brutal that Blizzard was forced to tune it down shortly after launch.

To accomplish the impressive feat, Xingluoah grinded out the Abattoir’s lower tiers for a week to upgrade his Tears of Blood Glyph to level 140, which significantly boosted his damage output. He/she then waited for the perfect randomly generated layout and went in with one of the strongest Barbarian builds in the game. However, even that wasn’t enough to get him through the dungeon’s final and most challenging tier, as he also had to use a newly discovered Legendary Aspect exploit to bump up his Overpower damage by 100%.

In a nutshell, the exploit takes advantage of a Legendary Aspect bug that allowed players to basically clone a stronger duplicate Aspect’s effect onto a single piece of gear by swapping them around, thereby increasing their effects far more than what the game would normally allow. Xingluoah apparently fumbled the exploit and went into the final tier of the Abattoir with no Legendary Aspect for his/her pants but ended up clearing it anyway.

Despite using an exploit, Xingluoah has earned the respect of Diablo 4 content creators and its community for achieving something that everyone thought was impossible. “This run is just crazy, man,” YouTuber Rob268 said. “And don't get this the wrong way guys, this is still extremely hard.”

From what they learned from the run, it looks like the Barbarian is the only class capable of completing the final tier due to its extremely huge damage output. It’s also worth noting that players are only given 10 minutes to clear the Abattoir of Zir, and swapping gear around would use up a few precious seconds of that time limit, assuming that the exploit doesn’t get hotfixed soon.

Unfortunately, there’s no special reward for completing the Abattoir of Zir’s final tier, but you do get bragging rights for doing so.
