Diablo 4 Scales Down Abattoir Of Zir After Players Found It Too Difficult To Clear

While Diablo 4 players were given fair warning that the new Abattoir of Zir endgame dungeon was going to be brutal, Blizzard apparently went overboard and made it a bit too punishing. A fact that the studio acknowledged and addressed with a hotfix last night.
According to Blizzard, even players who’ve cleared Level 100 Nightmare Dungeons before were finding it difficult to clear the first tier of multi-level dungeon which was supposed to be comparable in difficulty to the latter. As such, they’ve decided to scaled down the difficulty of the earlier levels to help players make an easier transition from Nightmare Dungeons while Tiers 10 and above will remain at the same difficulty.
Incoming damage throughout all 25 levels of the dungeon has also been nerfed by 20% and Glyph XP gains have been buffed from Tier 2 and up, with significantly more XP gains at higher tiers. You can check out the hotfix release notes on the Diablo 4 official forums.
