DDO And LOTRO Are Back Online After Day-Long Maintenance Downtimes

lord of the rings online 16th anniversary toast

Dungeons and Dragons Online and Lord Of The Rings Online are now back online after a 23-hour maintenance downtime to upgrade their respective aging in-game stores.

To be fair, Standing Stone Games did warn players that this week’s maintenance was going to take longer than expected, although they failed to mention that it was going to take nearly a day. Regardless, both titles are now back to normal operations with sleeker and more modern-looking cash shops.

LOTRO also came back online with Update 36.2 in tow, which mostly introduced a whole host of bug fixes. Additionally, Update 37 is back in testing on the Bullroarer test server featuring the new River Hobbits race, Lyndelby premium housing, Beorning and Guardian class changes, the upcoming stat crunch, and the Forester event. You can check out the latest Bullroarer release notes on the Lord of the Rings Online official forums.
