DC Universe Online Adds New World Boss, Revamps Character Creator And Tutorial

Game Update 139 is now on deck in DC Universe Online, starring the Gentleman Ghost as the latest baddie to take a crack at Cursed Gotham City. The spectral super villain makes a limited time appearance in the superhero MMORPG as a new open world boss alongside the Elite Plus versions of Episode 46’s Cursed Themyscira raid and Cursed House of Mystery alert.

The update also comes with a whole host of quality-of-life improvements including the complete removal of gear durability and repair system and a fully overhauled character creation and new-player tutorial. The revamped character creator in particular comes with new customization options like new streetwear, slimlines, and updated versions of several classic styles.

There’s also a handful of ability balance tweaks and general gameplay adjustments. Details can be found in the full patch notes on the DC Universe Online official site.
