A Dark Turn for the Lantern Corps in DCUO’s New Chapter

DC Universe Online has rolled out the third installment of its ongoing Light and Rain storyline, titled Raging Night. The update sends players to Mogo, the living planet that serves as headquarters for the Green Lantern Corps, now overrun by sorrow-infused enemies led by Nekron and the Black Lanterns. The episode is free for anyone who can already jump into the MMO, giving both heroes and villains a fresh chunk of endgame content that ties directly into one of DC’s most popular mythologies.

First launched in 2011, DCUO has built a reputation for weaving comic book arcs into regular episodic drops. The Light and Rain series has followed Kyle Rayner and newcomer Luzia Cavalera through an escalating war of emotions, and Raging Night marks the narrative’s low point before the inevitable counter-attack. Players at level 20 or higher can start the content immediately on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

New Raid and Alert — Book of the Black: Face Lyssa Drak inside the infamous tome, with multiple difficulty tiers and an abbreviated alert version for smaller groups.
Solo Instances: A story-focused prelude sets up the raid, while Nekron’s Lair serves as a final showdown against the Lord of the Unliving using newly forged White Lantern power.
Progression Items: Life-Infused Augment Canisters, Risen Exobytes, and Shattered Ring catalysts expand the gear treadmill.
