German indie studio Blankhans has confirmed an early access launch date for its multiplayer survival sandbox game, Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore. The game will be heading to Steam on July 18th, promising a co-op experience where players will work together to farm resources, establish outposts, and protect their settlements from the evil Sorgoth and his Gothkin army.

The early access build will feature all of the core gameplay mechanics including gear crafting, player towns, profession progression, and a place where players can socialize with each other called Coreheim. Early access is expected to run for a year or two with new features and content to be added along the way.

Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore will be free-to-play on full release with microtransactions in the form of a premium cosmetic shop, although it’s still unclear whether the early access release will also be free. The new trailer below offers a sneak peek at what’s in store for players when the game hits Steam shelves in two months’ time.
