Survival Sandbox Coreborn: Nations Of The Ultracore Starts Alpha Testing March 2

There’s no shortage of multiplayer survival sandbox games on the market and German development studio Blankhans is adding another one to the pile. Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore is a new co-op survival game with MMO elements set in a fantasy world under threat from the forces of darkness.
“Immerse yourself in an engrossing journey full of charm, hope, challenges, and adventures. Visit Tormentosia, a once vibrant land suddenly covered by Sorgoth’s shadow of darkness,” touts Blankhans. “Join the united nations of the Core in reclaiming the land. Restore and rebuild towns and settlements. Face hordes of Gothkin. Meet new friends and cooperate with your companions. Survive and thrive together to make a better future.”
To push back the encroaching darkness, players will need to work together to gather resources and build defensive structures to fend off Sorgoth’s minions. They’ll also be able to establish player towns in the open-world that will allow them to recruit more players to the cause. There’s also no PvP so you can go out and explore the game world without having to worry about getting killed by another player or being stabbed in the back by one of your new recruits.
Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore is expected to launch into early access soon. For now, the studio is planning to run a closed alpha test from March 2-5 that interested testers can sign-up for via Steam.
