Co-op Dino Shooter Second Extinction Is Free-To-Keep On Epic Games Store For 24 Hours

In case you haven’t noticed, Epic Games has been giving out free games every day for the past couple of days. The studio has given away 6 games since December 16th with 9 more mystery titles coming until December 30th. As of today, the only multiplayer titles included in the giveaways are Remnant: From the Ashes and today’s free game – Second Extinction, a three-player co-op survival shooter set in a post-apocalyptic Earth overrun by mutated dinosaurs.
“Second Extinction pits teams of up to three players against swarms of bloodthirsty dinos in fast-paced battles across Earth’s post-apocalyptic wastelands. Equip a range of uniquely powerful weapons and abilities and fight on your own or with friends against monstrous dinosaurs long thought extinct — now mutated and deadlier than ever! The War Effort is Second Extinction’s community-driven global metagame: by completing missions and activities, you’ll directly impact the threat level and challenges players around the world face.”
Today’s free game can only be claimed until 8am PST tomorrow, at which point Epic will be revealing the next mystery game. Here’s a list of the free titles so far:
