Tantra Online found a niche audience in the mid-2000s thanks to its eight-class system and large-scale player-versus-player battles, hallmarks of Korean free-to-play MMOs of that era.

Kathana / Tantra Online Main Features

  • Core eight-class system with flexible stat allocation and branching skill trees
  • Traditional quest lines that can be completed solo or in parties
  • Large-scale guild wars alongside smaller ranked PvP arenas and open-world PK rules
  • World bosses and instanced dungeons originally designed for group play
  • Cosmetic and equipment progression that visibly alters character models

At the time of writing, the legacy tantra-online.com server as well as several other private servers are still active, so players now have several ways to access the game.
