Cinderstone Online Kicks Off Closed Beta Testing With A $20 Entry Price
After giving the general public a chance to test out Cinderstone Online during last month’s open beta, Codevision has officially kicked off closed beta testing for the chibi-style MMORPG.
To get in, you’ll have to purchase one of the new Founder’s Packs which will set you back at least $20 for the base pack. The pack includes instant access to the beta test, a copy of the game, and an exclusive title. Higher-tier packs are also available for those who don’t mind spending extra for exclusive pets, weapon skins, and titles.
You can also just wait for the next open beta weekend to check out the game for free. The schedule for the free weekend tests will be posted on the Cinderstone Online social media page. As for the ongoing closed beta, testers can expect weekly patches and new story content every month, starting with the release of Chapter 2 this month.
Chapter 2 promises new story quests, side quests, a new dungeon, and the game’s first Halloween event while Chapter 3 arrives in November with a new map, another dungeon, and the addition of a class advancement system.
