Chronicles Of Elyria Kickstarter Begins, Raises $145,000 In Three Hours

Following its combat demo at PAX and our first look at its aging mechanics, the extremely ambitious sandbox MMORPG Chronicles of Elyria has taken to Kickstarter with a $900,000 goal, as was previously announced. Impressively, the game has raised $145,000 within its first three hours and that number continues to climb as I write this.

Rewards include the full game with one Spark of Life, valued at $50, for $35. It is confirmed in the Kickstarter text that Sparks of Life will cost $30 on their own. Beta access, the soundtrack, a digital strategy guide, and other bonuses are included in various tiers. In-game pets, mounts, and packs are included in various tiers, but they can be killed, lost, or destroyed, depending. Higher tiers allow backers to customize in-game content.
