Blizzard Nerfs XP Earned From World Of Warcraft: Legion Demon Invasions

When Demon Invasions first went live in World of Warcraft, players found that they gave rather good amounts of experience. They awarded so much experience, in fact, that they quickly became a popular way to level alts in preparation for the launch of Legion. Blizzard clearly wasn't happy about this, as yesterday's hotfix patch included a nerf to experience earned by completing Demon Invasions.
Players were less than happy about the nerf. Some were attempting to "protest" the change by AFKing in the middle of Demon Invasions, while others were simply not doing Demon Invasions anymore, convinced that they were no longer worth participating in at all.
Amidst the criticism, Community Manager Ornyx stated that Blizzard made another change to experience gains in Demon Invasions, increasing the amount of experience players get from killing Invasion mobs.
Most players were initially happy with the mob kill experience gain changes thus far, but it remains to be seen if they will continue to be in the long term. Many are still concerned about players tagging mobs for experience, reducing the amount of experience gained for everyone else involved in killing said mobs, and then doing no further damage to the mobs. Because of this issue, many still believe that Demon Invasions aren't worth doing in their current form. Others are concerned about the large amount of ganking and graveyard camping that is occurring around Demon Invasions. Ultimately, it seems that more changes will be necessary in order to appease the community.
