Blade & Soul Heroes Sets Global Release Date, Demo Coming to KCON and Gamescom

Blade & Soul Heroes, the latest entry in the long-running Blade & Soul franchise, has locked in its worldwide launch for September 2, 2025. The game will be hitting PC and mobile platforms, including Steam, Steam Deck, iOS, Android, and NC’s proprietary PURPLE launcher. As part of a global rollout, publisher NC America is putting the game in the hands of players at two major summer events, Los Angeles’ KCON and Germany’s Gamescom. While the game is multi-platform, it's clearly designed with mobile as its key focus.

For those unfamiliar, Blade & Soul Heroes is a collectible action MMORPG, building on the martial arts fantasy world and fast-paced combat that the series is known for. The original Blade & Soul first launched in 2012 in Korea and has since gathered a dedicated international following, particularly among fans of action-heavy online RPGs. This new installment marks NC America’s push for a broader, cross-platform audience, reflecting the growing trend of MMORPGs targeting both mobile and traditional PC users.

Leading up to launch, NC America is opening up pre-registration for Blade & Soul Heroes, giving early adopters a few incentives and a chance to try the game firsthand at upcoming conventions. Here’s what players can expect:

  • Global launch set for September 2, 2025 on PC (Steam, Steam Deck, PURPLE) and mobile (iOS, Android).
  • Pre-registration is live for both mobile and PC, allowing players to pre-download and access the game at launch.
  • Online pre-registration rewards include an exclusive costume set and unique in-game items.
  • Playable demos will be available at KCON (August 1-3, Los Angeles Convention Center) for fans and at Gamescom (Cologne, Germany) for media.
