Blade & Soul Heroes Arrives Worldwide With Cross-Platform Play

NC America has released Blade & Soul Heroes, a free-to-play collectible action MMORPG that lands today on Steam, the publisher’s PURPLE launcher, iOS, and Android. The game acts as a narrative prequel to the long-running PC MMORPG Blade & Soul, but trades the original’s purely real-time combat for a hybrid system that blends action controls with turn-based encounters.
The launch plants NC America in a crowded field of gacha-style action RPGs while giving veteran Blade & Soul players a chance to revisit familiar names like Poharan and Yura. While the game is available on PC, it is clearly a mobile game first. The game hit a peak of 2,999 concurrent players on Steam on launch day, which is impressivee, but user reviews were mixed.

- Dual combat system – real-time action for exploration that can switch to turn-based battles for PvE and PvP encounters.
- Cross-platform progression lets PC and mobile players share one account and party up regardless of device.
