Back 4 Blood Free Beta Test Is Now Underway On PC And Consoles

The Back 4 Blood open beta is now live, giving fans a chance to take the zombie co-op shooter out for a spin without having to pre-purchase the full game for $59.99. The open beta build comes with the all the same features that were available during the Early Access beta last week.

Open beta features include the single player and four-player co-op campaigns in three difficulty modes (Classic, Survivor, and Hard), and the PvP Swarm Mode where Cleaners try to survive against waves of player-controlled and AI Ridden. Players will get to play as one of five Cleaners: Evangelo, Hoffman, Holly, Walker, and for the first time ever, Mom. Those on the Ridden side will get to choose from six variants: Bruiser, Crusher, Exploder, Hocker, Retch, and Stinger.

The free playtest will run until 12nn on August 16 and is available for all players on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One with cross-gen and cross-play support.
