ArcheAge Unchained Still Plagued With Monster Queues, Players Call To Disable New ArchePass System

archeage villa bannerIt's now been a week since ArcheAge Unchained opened its doors and yet the game is still plagued by monster queues, AFK’ers, disconnection issues, not to mention land claim problems arising from overpopulated servers. In response, Gamigo has opened another North American server over the weekend called Jergant. Land claim on the new server starts at 10am PDT on October 26th so if you’re planning to move, now would be a good time.

A new exploit was also uncovered during the weekend that allowed players to endlessly farm world bosses through the new ArchePass system. Players have been warned against abusing the exploit while the developers continue to work on a fix.

“There is an issue currently with the high level missions from the ArchePass, specifically the missions to kill World Bosses in different regions. These missions, alongside the dungeon missions, provide a large gold reward and it has been identified that these missions can be completed repeatedly to earn higher than intended quantities of gold. We have been in discussion with XL regarding this issue, and the gold earned from ArchePass missions going forward will be reduced to a maximum of 10 gold per mission. This will be changed in an upcoming hotfix. The repeated reset to get these missions is not intended and doing so is considered a violation of our Terms of Service, and will not be tolerated.”

A number of players, however, are calling on Gamigo to disable the ArchePass system, remove it entirely, or at least change it so it doesn’t favor grinders too much. According to the community, the system allows players to earn a whole lot of gold without any limitations or locks which will eventually ruin the game’s economy.
