ArcheAge talks 4.0 Maelstrom Update, Release Date for Set for December 6th

ArcheAge has finally released a concrete date for its next big update, known as ArcheAge: Maelstrom. The update brings with it revamped Gems, a new open-world raid finder, crafting system updates, 20-man PvP, and more.

One of the major highlights of this update is the new Bloodsalt Bay. A 20-player slugfest, Bloodsalt Bay will feature four crews of five, on a ship, fighting against both PvE monsters and each other, all to claim top prize.

Maelstrom also brings with it a Raid Recruitment Board, which will allow players to post LFG and LFM messages in the openworld, and a new raid link system has been hinted at, allowing players to team up to take on the tougher challenges.
