ArcheAge Teases Gameplay Reworks, Cross-Server Raids, And A New Race Coming This Year

ArcheAge might not have as many players as it once did, but Kakao Games isn’t giving up on the sandbox MMORPG just yet. The medieval fantasy title is currently celebrating its 11th anniversary and is expecting a brighter year ahead with a whole host of new content and features coming throughout 2024.
Content updates will be divided into four phases this year, starting with Phase 1: Akasch Queen’s Rage which will focus on improving the faction system and realm vs. realm experience. Of significant note is a revamp of Akasch Invasion world event into a field raid and the removal of faction points from the Exile system.
Phase 2: In the Great Name Of will feature the addition of capturable guild bases and the Golden Plains Battle PvP instance, while Phase 3: Garden Reboot will introduce a new progression system Stat Migration and Ipnysh Artifacts improvements, and cross-server field raids in the form of the Garden of the Gods, Black Dragon, and Kraken.
Finally, Phase 4 will mark the arrival of the new Fairy race as part of the game’s final update for the year. Players can also look forward to the new Equipment Transcend system which will allow players to increase their Equipment Points over the current 30,000-point limit.
