Anvil Empires Plans Major Pre-Alpha Technical Test This Weekend For Serious Testers

Siege Camp will be running a major pre-alpha test for its medieval sandbox MMO Anvil Empires this weekend and is inviting everyone to sign-up. The playtest is set to begin on Friday, October 13th at 10 a.m. PDT with no end date announced.

“Major tests are designed to evaluate the current build in a more real world setting,” the studio explained. “The test will be more persistent (server will be up for longer so long as it is stable enough) and PvP is highly encouraged.”

Note that the upcoming playtest will be the first one that will be open to the public. As such, Siege Camp warns that the influx of players might cause server crashes, progression loss, and other issues. If you’re still interested, you can sign up for the alpha test by requesting access through the Anvil Empires Steam page.

It’s also worth noting that the developers are specifically looking for serious testers who’ll spend ample time to test the game and provide helpful feedback. Those who just want to take a quick peek or add another game to their Steam library are discouraged from signing up, so keep that in mind before you throw your name into the hat.
