Anvil Empires Showcases Siege Warfare And City Building In New Gameplay Videos

Siege Camp wrapped up its latest Anvil Empires pre-alpha test last weekend and is now ready to show off actual gameplay from the playtest. The team shines the spotlight on several PvP experiences from the top-down city-building MMOs last build with a pair of new gameplay videos.

Both videos offer mostly raw gameplay footage from the perspective of a regular player, which means no fancy edits and no blustering. The first video also includes live VOIP chatter to give viewers a feel for how chaotic PvP siege warfare can be in the upcoming medieval fantasy title.

The second video showcases a timelapse of live gameplay footage that shows how a player settlement evolves into a large town over several days. It also offers a brief look at some key gameplay elements such as building, farming, and trade caravans, along with a few glimpses of combat as the player defends their town and caravans from attacks.
