Aliens: Fireteam Elite Officially Launches With A New Horde Mode
It’s time to blast Xenomorphs and Synthetics to kingdom come with the official launch of Cold Iron Studios and 20th Century Games’ Alien video game adaptation – Aliens: Fireteam Elite. The action-packed cooperative shooter drops your team of Colonial Marines into the iconic Aliens universe in an intense fight to contain the Xenomorph threat. The launch build also comes with the new Horde mode and visual optimizations for players to enjoy.
“Aliens: Fireteam Elite drops your fireteam of hardened marines into a desperate fight to contain the evolving Xenomorph threat. With over 20 enemy types, players must face off against waves of terrifying Xenomorph and Weyland-Yutani Synthetic foes alongside two players or AI teammates, as they desperately fight through four unique campaigns that introduce new storylines to the Alien universe.”
Players will be able to choose from four immediately-playable classes: Demolisher, Gunner, Technician, and Doc; and the Recon class that can be unlocked upon completing the campaign. Marines can also be customized with an extensive variety of weapons, gear, and perks. A new character class called Phalanx as well as new weapons and rewards will be arriving when Season 1 kicks off in September.
