Albion Online Previews The Steppe Biome

When Albion Online launches its second phase of Closed Beta this summer, it will be receiving five new biomes. Today, the developers give us a look at the first of these biomes: the Steppes. The Steppes are described as "a dry wasteland" that features several "oases." They will be a place that players regularly collect "hide or fiber."

There will be four "scenes" that players can stumble across in The Steppes. They are as follows.

• Road through Hell – A nomad’s camp near a canyon.
• Dried-up River – Formerly a flourishing river, only some puddles of water now remain.
• Abandoned Camp – A desolated camp, once occupied by animal farmers.
• Fall of Death – The site of a mysterious accident.
