Albion Online Enters Beta II This Summer, Darian Update This Month

Albion Online has been progressing steadily for some time now. In a new Developer Talk video, it is revealed that Beta II will be launching this summer. With the launch of Beta II, the game will have five new biomes: forest, highlands, mountains, steppe, and swamp. Swamp will be the first biome to be completed, containing mostly fiber. Open world structures and a rework of the Guild vs Guild system will also be included.

The "final stepping stone" towards this next phase of Beta, the Darian update, will be released this month. It will include "a great deal of new player-spells." The previously-announced Morgana faction rework will be making its way into the game. The Learning Point System will see some improvements as the Item Study feature is introduced.
