Albion Online Tweaks Crystal Arena, Portal Town Mechanics, And Castle Chests

It’s now been a few weeks since Albion Online rolled out its big Into the Fray update which introduced shiny new mage staffs, portal towns, and the Crystal Arena for PvP newbies among others. Sandbox Interactive is now in the process of tweaking the newly-added features with emphasis on the new Crystal Arena.
“This patch brings some improvements to the Arena and the brand-new Crystal Arena. Firstly, players are fully healed at the end of a match and have all cooldowns reset, so that you enter the next fight at full health. Players’ max load now receives a significant increase while in an Arena match. Waiting times in the queue have been significantly reduced, particularly for premade 5-player teams, to get you into the action even quicker. And the highest Crystal Arena Rank Points that a player has reached in a season is now displayed in the Character Stats UI.”
Players are also now allowed to fast travel to Royal Cities and Player Islands from the new Outlands portal towns with luggage. The update also increases the respawn time of the new Castle Chests from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. Elite Castle Guards have also been nerfed and their “Enrage” buffs will no longer stack.
A full rundown of the recent changes can be found in the full patch notes on the Albion Online official site.
