Yoozoo Games CEO And Founder Dies Of Suspected Poisoning, Co-Worker Detained
Shanghai-based Yoozoo Games CEO and Founder Lin Qi died last week on Christmas Day at 39 years old due to suspected poisoning. Qi was rushed to the hospital on December 17th for treatment but unfortunately passed away on December 25th.
Qi’s co-worker, Xu, has been detained by the Shanghai police in connection with the suspected murder of the company’s late founder. According to the Chinese business magazine Caixin via Associated Press, Xu works at Yoozoo’s film division and is currently working on a Netflix adaptation of The Three-Body Problem”, a Chinese sci-fi novel by Liu Cixin.
Yoozoo Games is the developer and publisher of Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming and the League of Angels series of MMORPGs.
